Dr. Hemant Dand, a board-certified pulmonary and critical care physician, leads Access Physicians’ pulmonary specialty program.
He graduated from Baylor University, Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the UT Southwestern Medical School where he also completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary-Critical Care Fellowship.
Dr. Durani is the Dallasite. He was born and raised in the Greater Dallas area, attending school in Carrollton. He earned his Bachelors work at Southern Methodist University, and earned his MD from Saint George’s University School of Medicine. Following his medical school work, he returned to Dallas – doing his residency at the University of Texas at Southwestern. During his time at UT-Southwestern, he earned the prestigious role of Chief Resident in the Family Medicine Residency program.
Dr. Durani is a board certified family-medicine physician and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been working as a hospitalist and primary care physician for local regional medical centers and is now excited about providing primary care services to his patients.
He strives for medical, mental and spiritual well-being for all his patients through long-term relationships and personalized care.
Omar and his wife have a beautiful young daughter, and currently live in Frisco. He is a die-hard Cowboys fan, as well as a loyal fan to all DFW sporting teams. He enjoys sports, astronomy and spending time with his growing family.
Dr. Chris Gallagher is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. A founder of Access Physicians, he has dedicated his career to the leadership and development of efficient, cost-effective and high-quality physician networks. He is a pioneer in the field of post-acute cardiology, serving in multiple leadership roles at both the LTACH and SNF levels where he designs programs focused on raising quality, reducing readmissions and improving access to cardiology.
Dr. Gallagher trained at UT Southwestern for both his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology Fellowship, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology, member of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, American Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Jeffrey Gladden has been practicing in North Texas since 1988 and founded Advanced Heart Care in 1997. Dr. Gladden also co-founded the Heart Hospital at Baylor Plano.
