Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Injury is inevitable. Whether you are a non-professional active person or have a life dedicated to sports as an athlete, injury happens. From simple sprains to more complex torn ligaments and fractures, our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team is exceptional in treating injuries to help you or your loved ones to get back in the game.

  • The term sports medicine encompasses the range of study and research of both basic science and clinical aspects of physical activity, sports injury, and treatment or rehabilitation.
  • Orthopedics is a branch of medicine concerned with injuries, diseases, and different conditions of the musculoskeletal system including muscles, joints, bones, ligaments, tendons, and nerves.
  • An orthopedic doctor specializes in issues, diseases, and injuries pertaining to the musculoskeletal system. These doctors play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.

Many people believe that the only solution for these issues is medication. If you are experiencing any type of pain in your ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, or back, you should consider seeing an orthopedic surgeon. Our team takes care of not only patients with sports injuries but also patients with other orthopedic conditions such as osteoarthritis and fractures.
